Traverse City Products (TCP) specializes in custom roll formed and stamped metal products for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Our customers span the automotive, office furniture, access flooring, conveyor, and transportation sectors. Since 1982, we’ve delivered high-volume parts that meet tight specifications and long-term program goals.

Our facility in Traverse City, Michigan, spans 60,000 square feet and houses 18 roll forming lines, six stamping presses (100 to 800 tons), and 12 welding stations. This includes resistance welders and robotic systems. Because we control every step—from tooling to finishing—we reduce complexity, accelerate lead times, and maintain quality.

We produce components such as window sashes, lift plates, sunroof reinforcements, structural trim, and sub-assemblies. We’re also known for advanced work in automotive glass hardware and 6-axis swept parts. Our in-house engineering and tooling teams work alongside customers to ensure every part is manufacturable, cost-effective, and durable over time.

TCP holds ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certifications. These systems guide our approach to traceability, consistency, and performance. Whether supporting a new product launch or managing a multi-year program, we meet expectations and solve problems quickly.

In addition to forming and stamping, TCP offers extensive finishing capabilities. These include E-Coat, zinc plating, powder coating, black oxide, plastisol dip, and wash and seal. We also handle tape application, flocking, felt, and custom packaging. This integrated model helps customers simplify their supply chains and cut coordination costs.
